The beautiful Yanchep Inn is located in the scenic 2842 hectares of Yanchep National Park, where you can enjoy the abundant native flora and fauna.

Only 45 minutes away from Perth, this historic site is close enough to be convenient, yet far away to feel as though you have left the hustle and bustle of the city and are nestled in the great Australian Bush.

This is an ideal place for a meal, leisurely drink, conference, wedding, function or just sitting back and enjoying a coffee looking over Wagardu Lake, whilst watching the wildlife go by.

The Yanchep Inn is a great place to come and stay, with the option of motel units or the quaintness and ambience of the Inn's historic rooms. What a great way to wake up, watching the wild kangaroos grazing on the lawns.

Built in 1936, from locally sourced jarrah, limestone, tiles and plasterboard, The Yanchep Inn quickly became a popular meeting place. World War II brought with it petrol rationing, which contributed to the quieting of the park and Inn.

Governments budgets tightening brought about the closure of the park and its return to bush. The RAAF took over in 1943. October of that year, the Inn became a rehabilitation unit for servicemen. At the end of the war, the RAAF vacated the Inn and private enterprise took over again.

The Inn became known as the “Honeymoon Hotel” as numbers of people marrying and enjoying their honeymoon in beautiful settings rapidly increased.

The Inn today is a heritage listed building and remains as a proud reminder of our history in the spectacular Yanchep National Park.
